I can’t seem to find any specific documentation or tutorial videos on editing the Cosmetic subtheme for WooShop. Just figuring out how to install it was challenging enough, but as I’m trying to load my content in, I find that I can’t remove the Revolution Slider at the top of the layout and replace it with my own hero image or a slider of my own creation.
When you edit the home/front page of the Cosmetic theme “Skin” in WPBakery, the content area/box where the big hero slider on the home page is located doesn’t show up in the WPBakery editor layout.
I’ve looked everywhere int he Appearance > theme options, WooShop theme options, etc. and can’t find a way to remove the slider or edit that area.Update: Purely by accident, I scrolled down to the very bottom of the WPBakery page editor and found the options for Revolution slider, including the ability to disable displaying it. I disabled it and created a new content area where it would logically go on the page and was able to add my hero image.
But that still doesn’t explain why the content area where it is displayed doesn’t show up in the WPBakery site map/flowchart for that page. It’s very confusing.
