Please consider using the image larger in size. Instead, you would have to add custom class / custom CSS, for that particular one to be in fullwidth, to get rid of the whitespace around.

1) Get into wp-content/plugins/designthemes-core-features/shortcodes/shortcodes.php and refer this – https://prnt.sc/vuwnog change text here
2) Please add the following styles into “Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS” section,
.dt-sc-post-entry.entry-list-layout.dt-sc-soulmedic-style .blog-entry .entry-thumb .blog-image a { border: 1px solid; }
