Post excerpt length and "read more" tag not working

I have set up “recent posts” widget on the home page and changed the setting to show the excerpt length to be 200 but that setting is not honored.

Regardless which what number do I put it shows the whole post on the home page. Inserting “more” tag does not work either.

Please help!

I have followed your instructions – I have sent yesterday the site credentials via the right bottom form located @ http://themeforest.net/user/designthemes.

No answer?

Hi.,

It seems that you have built the post “Two-Week Horseshoeing Course” with page builder. So the shortcodes are being used in the starting on the post content. If you check this post “Organization for needy” it correctly showing the excerpt and read more link. So make please try to use WordPress editor in the post content and have a look.
