Home Page, Can't turn off comments.

I’ve imported the demo data, and i’m trying to set up the home page.

Under the last content row which is “Sponsors Words” there are comments cascading down before the footer.

When i go to the post that the comments come from and turn off comments it still displays the comments on the home page.

So go to edit the “home” page and under the “default page option” i try to turn off the Comments button which says “Allow Comments” YES/NO, but everytime i switch it to NO and save it just turns comments back to YES.

How can i turn this off?

Obviously deleting the comments is not the solution because if someone comments on a new post then they will end up on the home page again.

Hello, I have not been able to check until today.

The comments are gone but now i can’t log into the website??

Thank you for fixing.

But now there is a problem displaying the sliders (Layer, Revolution etc…), i can’t get them to display they wont turn on. more php errors.

Hi.,

Please update our theme with latest version 1.2.2 to fix the issue. Follow the below steps to update the theme.

i) Download the theme from themeforest page.

ii) If you have made any custom changes in the code, please take a backup of it.

iii) Overwrite the updated theme files to the older theme files. Update the custom change that you had already.

iv) go to wp-content/plugins/ through ftp

v) Remove the folder designthemes-core-features/ from wp-content/plugins/

vi) Then Login to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Install Plugins. Install the Designthemes Core Features plugin. Thats it. Now you are updated to the latest version.
