DesignThemes Page Builder conflicts with Visual Composer

Some of our themes comes with both DesignTheme’s Page Builder ( it will be in theme name in your backend ) and WPBakery Visual Composer page builders. This article is to inform that both the page builders should not be worked together in single page and help you in setting up your pages using these 2 page builders.

Going to build your own pages from beginning ?

  • By default both the page builders will be disabled. But when you are going to create your new page you will have option to choose between the 2 page builders. Please refer the attached screenshot.
  • If you are going to work on DesignTheme’s Page Builder than click the “DesignTheme’s Page Builder” ( it will be in theme name in your backend ) button and activate the “Enable page builder”. Now you can work on your page contents.
  • Else if you are going to work on WPBakery Visual Composer than click the “BACKEND EDITOR” or “FRONTEND EDITOR”. Now you can work on your page contents.
  • If suppose you are going to switch between 2 page builders, than make sure its counterpart is completely disabled.

Importing contents and editing on it ?

  • If your imported contents are build using DesignTheme’s Page Builder than make you sure you didn’t enable WPBakery Visual Composer page builder in that imported page.
  • If your imported contents are build using WPBakery Visual Composer than make you sure you didn’t enable DesignTheme’s Page Builder page builder in that imported page.
  • Yes for new pages you can start of with DesignTheme’s Page Builder or WPBakery Visual Composer page builders.
